Yiju Jia Appointed as Industrial Co-Director of the Oxford SBS HAI Lab

We are pleased to announce that Yiju Hailan J. has joined the Oxford SBS Human-Algorithm Interaction (HAI) Lab as the new Industrial Co-Director. Yiju brings a wealth of experience from her impressive career, which includes key leadership roles such as Chief Marketing Officer at a prominent family office foundation, where she excelled in global operations, strategic market growth in emerging market.

Yiju’s role will focus on strengthening the bridge between academia and industry through impactful industry engagement, innovative media strategies, and the development of a dynamic AI community platform. Her recent completion of the AI for Business program at Oxford Saïd Business School underscores her commitment to advancing AI applications and her deep understanding of how AI can be applied practically to drive transformation. This unique blend of academic insight and extensive industry expertise positions her perfectly to guide the lab’s initiatives and connect theoretical research with real-world impact.
